Trails were rolled again this evening. Good to see people out. Trail is shaping up but not yet deep enough to use the sled or put down tracks for the diagonal skiers. Parking lot is very good. Sure was snowing hard as I finished up grooming. Please remember to stride right, skate left, walkers to the side of the track and pick up after dogs. Will hopefully get even better is more snow accrues

Are there any XC ski groups or clubs in the area? I’m Onekama and there was a club around here called ‘Ski and Spree’ (I believe) but I can’t find their web site anywhere on-line. Some years ago, I was in ski clubs in Lansing, GR and Battle Creek that did downhill trips of course but also did XC day trips.
Would you happen to have any information on more local to me ski clubs or info about ‘Ski and Spree’? S&S did have meetings in Frankfort.

Unfortunately I do not know of any ski clubs locally. I have an email address for the Ski and Spree (northwoodsskiandspree@gmail.com) but no other info for them. Additionally, Beth Major may be someone you want to reach out to. She is an instructor at Crystal Mountain, works with the school ski teams and is just an awesome person. She may have some ideas of who you can get in touch with. Hope that helps!
