  • Rolling, rolling, rolling

All trails (ski and fat bike) were rolled Monday night. Now let’s see what Mother Nature brings!

  • Ski trails rolled Sunday morning

About 5″ of freshies fell over night on top of a nice base (it survived!). I rolled the trails for two passes with the comb up and one with it down. Base is pretty soft right now. Fat bike trails were driven with the snowmobile but no groomer (which is at Big M right now).…

  • Trails Groomed Thursday Morning

Hit the ski trails with the Ginzu Thursday morning and conditions are EXCELLENT! I am going to try and avoid grooming the trails until we get more snow because the base is perfectly nice and clean right now and I am afraid I may hit dirt if I groom too much more. If the trail…

  • Trails rolled again Wednesday morning

Rolled the trails with the comb down. Things smoothed out nicely and the base is nice and firm. Base is too shallow for classic tracks right now. Was snowing pretty hard when I left the trailhead! Enjoy.

  • We have snow again!!

All of the ski trails were rolled today (Tuesday 12/29). There wasn’t a ton of snow but luckily it was very dense. It packed down to 1.5-2″ of nice base but temps were hovering just above freezing so it wasn’t setting up well. I would recommend staying off the trails until tonight when it drops…

  • Get out while the getting is good!

The park received about 8″ of dense snow Saturday night. I didn’t get a chance to groom it until late on Sunday but skating should be good. There is enough base that I probably won’t use my rock skis. Several more inches predicted for tonight so we should have at minimum several days of good…

  • Update on Summer Work at the Park

We may be a couple months out from skiable snow but I just wanted to post a few updates about the park. As a result of the Oleson Foundation and a grant that the Shoreline Cycling Club applied for, we are able to have the driveway paved and curb cuts installed according to the requirements…

  • The end

Despite that there is 98% coverage right now and extended stretches are still really good, alas the end is here. Get out on your rock skis and ski tomorrow once the snow softens if you can. There are periodically some stretches up to 10-15′ with no snow and holes you will need to dodge but…

  • Trails Groomed Thursday Morning

The trails were groomed Thursday morning with fresh track being set. As of right now the base is holding up but it won’t be long before ski season is over. I highly recommend getting out and enjoying it while you can!!

  • Skate lane cleaned up Sunday morning

Did a quick pass over the skate lane to clean it up. It’s beautiful day and should be wonderful skiing!
